The Indian Head cent was minted from 1859 to 1909. Starting next Wednesday (the 14th of April 2011) we'll all start posting our Indian Head cents, one year per day, running for 51 days!    This makes me very happy! I know everyone has Indian Head cents! We want to see all of yours! From your grade P-01 all the way up to your MS-67! It's time to get the camera battery charged, get your Coin Album from the Safety Deposit Box, arrange your lighting and start snapping the pictures! If you haven't posted pictures on CCF, it's time to learn! Go to Uploading Images right above the Reply to Topic to learn how! NOW is the time to get ready! Wednesday morning we start! Just to be totally clear: We all post our 1859 Indian Head Cent(s) on the 13th of April! Then on the 14th of April, we all post our 1860 Indian Head cents, etc, etc. Example:Here's a preview of the 13th:1859 Indian Head Cent  Get it?  Whooooooo HOOOOO!  Edited by Moe145

Tuesday is the 12th. 13th is Wednesday. And yes I am almost ready. Just a few more pics to take.
Edit: did you mean to start on the 13th or Tuesday?

I actually have an Indian Head cent collection and it is only missing fifteen dates! However, I have very few photographs.  The good news is that I do have photos for the first six days. They were bought last year and I photographed them for GTP Season 9 Round 10. The bad news is that I do not see any opportunity in the foreseeable future to properly photograph the remainders. I am reluctant to do a quickie shoot like I did for the 7070. We will see what happens! |
