Looks pretty solid for MS-64, with a possible proof-like rating. Nice one! I'd definitely leave it in the GSA holder and submit to NGC only for grading if you want a professional judgment. NGC will leave it in the GSA case and put a grade label around the outside.

I dont really need professional grading just a good estimate. My situation is that I went crazy and decided to try and build a collection of Carson City Morgans. I already bought an 1885 and 1890. Now I need to sell some 1883CCs and 1884CCs to pay for those. I'm getting some great assistance from the members of this community to determine which I should keep and which I should sell and so I will know the approximate grade of those I'm going to sell. Hopefully I can hold out long enough (250 posts) to be able to offer them for sale here or if not they will go on ebay or to the local coin dealer for wholesale. I'm not sure if it would make financial sense to have any professionally graded, unless it would bring a big premium for a sale. Just for my own personal use, Its not really financially viable for me to send coins for grade at this point in my collecting hobby.

Knowing you plan to sell a few pieces, certification is a tough call because you need a PL designation or a 65 to make it worthwhile. If you only plan to sell the lower mint state pieces and hang onto the better ones, I'd just keep posting pictures and get more input.

I would send this one in for grading great shot at 65 TPG's give coins like this high grades. EDIT: I have two PCGS 66's, other dates, that are not this nice.

I would say a MS-64, and possibly a MS-65 at a reputable TPG (Because its a CC).

Ive got a lot to learn about grading, cause those two coins SouthSav, I like the 78 better. When I have enough posts and I'm able to post for sale, I will defintley give first priority to those that helped me with the grading and might be interested, I really dont want these to go for wholesale and I dont think I want to mess with ebay and all those fees.
