What Is Right Term For This Error - Coin Community Forum

Basically the two pieces look like pieces that are clipped off other coins. Hope not too confusing explaination sorry. Does that usually command big premium? Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 04/14/2011 10:58 am Sounds like what he may have is a double strike with the first strike being normal, and the second being a saddle strike. Could also be a triple strike with the first strike being normal and then two off center strikes. Would have to see pictures to know for sure which it is. Report this Post to the Staff
