have some foreign coins here (about 25-30) from when I worked in a bank that had a coin counting machine that would pick up a lot of foreign coins and 1 day I decided to take the foreign coins they were going to trash. I have no real use for them, but I would like to see if any have silver in them. I did find 1 Canadian coin that had silver.

ps- are foreign coins worth trying to sell?

thanks in advance!

I really suppose that depends on how you define junk. If junk is lack of precious metal value then they probably are 'junk'. But to someone who wants to collect type coins from around the world, I wouldn't say they were junk. And if they were types they didn't have then they would be thrilled to get them. I have a lot of coins worth $0.15 in Krause and I don't classify them as junk. But that's me!
