I think it's a cash coin from Indian Princely State of Travancore around the 1900s. I'm not near my references right now, but someone'll put you (or me) right soon enough.

Yes it is Travancore, they were made in 2 periods, 1901-10, KM46 descried as "thick" and 1928-49 KM57, descried as "thin"
