any idea what type of error this is, the denticles are very weak to nonexistent on the reverse top, but strong on the bottom, also what grade ?

Yep,Broadstrike.
As for grade,a bit hard from those pics but there looks to be a fair bit of circulation from the obverse shot,maybe around the VF mark ?
