Greetings Folks, And welcome to the The Daily Silver.
My name is Kent and I have a problem. That problem is that there is not enough silver left out there! I search everyday and only manage to find some here and there, as I'm sure you all do.
So I made this page.
I want to hear about your silver. Well not all of it, just the stuff you managed to aquire today. Hey mabye even some pictures would be nice?
--RULES OF "THE DAILY SILVER--
-Post all stories/pictures you have of the silver you've aquired today wether it be from a roll, from the till at work, the teller at the bank or just in your pocket, I want to hear it all!
-Please do not post pictures/stories of BOUGHT/BRAND NEW silver ( from websites, stores or other people..you know what I mean )
-------------------------------
I'll begin the page by letting you guys know what I aquired today :)
So today I was roll hunting quarters, 40 rolls to be exact. Managed to find a '68 silver in the first 5 rolls. That was pretty nice, but in the second last roll I found my first '67! yay! didn't think there was much more then '68s left :)

I found a 1943 silver quarter in the parking lot of a store just after the snow melted a few weeks back. I thought it was an electrical panel slug that I dropped out of my coat pocket when I bent down to pick it up, that's how grey it was. 67 dime in my change from Timmies at the drive through last Monday.

A friend I work with got a '47 quarter in his change at Tim's last week. He has no interest in coins so he sold it to me for a buck.

Found a 52-D Washington quarter today from $100 in CWR. Ugly I'm suprised you found something under the snow. I didn't think snow melted in Canada till about June or July :)

Found a '51 dime roll searching. Whats so special about the '67? Didn't they make silver up through '64?
Hey DBM: '68 quarter was it proof or something?

rachums107 - They're talking about Canadian quarters and dimes which were silver up to 1967-1968.

Quote: Searched $400 in dimes and only managed a single 1961 Silver. ACK! Yeah, same happens to me all the time-I've only ever found that '51 when searching dimes and I've never found anything searching quarters.

Do War Nickels count as silver finds, I mean they're 35% silver.
