Detail wise, I'd put it it in the AU category, but the picture makes it look cleaned. If you used a flash try again without it.

I will try to take one when the sun comes up here, right now the camera will not focus without the flash. Thanks for the input though.

Yeah, the coloring on the head and the fields makes it look like that area was whizzed with some kind of cleaning tool or rubbing really hard with a finger... I agree with okiepb, the details are a strong AU, maybe even a AU/BU.

It looks like it could go MS to me, too. The 62 looks to be greased. It looks to be cleaned, too, but at some distant point, not recently.

OK daylight here. Took these without the flash. I think the date is post mint damage, but I am not sure.

I wouldn't call that date PMD. From those new pics, though, I can see what upstate was saying, or, that at least looks to be somewhat of a chip going on on that 2.

Looks to be a MS coin to me. Probably a brown MS that someone thought they could change
to a red MS with a light dip and rub or something. The 62 on the date looks Struck Through Grease
or some other material causing a localized weak strike.
A really nice coin that has a story to tell.
I'm curious to see what other opinions are.

If there is any friction on that coin, I don't see it. I would say MS Details/cleaned

Thanks guys! My first instinct was that it had been cleaned, but only because it looked so good for the age and the fact that I found in a roll. But that was just a gut feeling. Is there tell tale signs of it being cleaned or dipped? I just want to better understand what to look for.
