If any of us could predict the price action in the metals market, we would all be rich.

I think only the misinformed and foolish will purchase gram bars. The premiums are way too high. More novelty then worth.

Silver will hit 88 dollars and the aliens will come. After they demand silver for their spaceship hauls, silver will be worth about $600/oz

You heard it here first!

The aliens are already here and are mining silver like mad, so don't expect silver to drop in price!

I saw a story on the news today, a collapse and trapped miner in what they say is one of the largest silver mines in the U.S. - ironically, this happened Friday, and the mine is the Lucky Friday mine. Not very lucky for one poor soul - over 6,000 feet down, sounds like silver mining is a dangerous job.

Lol. Some of us are already rich and still can't predict the future.

I do agree that a nice crystal ball that actually worked as advertised would be a BIG help in getting richer, though!

No, no... wait... I have it... the aliens come to Earth and demand silver OR human flesh. Those of us who have silver can buy them off. Those who don't... get eaten!

ALL below ground mining is a dangerous job, Jack. Lots of miners lose their lives in coal mines too. It's a very hard job that takes a lot of strength, stamina, and raw courage to do day in and day out. I am very happy to pay the guys who can and will do it whatever the going rate is for their labor.

Rest in Peace

Back when silver was in the $4-7 range, we had dozens of designs of ounce rounds and bars, choice for $9.99. We'd sell the occasional piece, and once in a rare while, a collector would buy a dozen or so.

Maybe it's old fogeyhood, but the idea of getting $26 for 3% as much silver is alien to me.

I am watching this miner situation very closely. First off, I am hoping this miner will be found, and rescued safely, for him and his familys sake. Secondly, its a mine owned by Hecla, which I own a substantial amount of stock in.
