About 3 weeks ago I purchased E 0438 0438 A on an another forum and earlier this week I found A 0438 0438 A in a fed strap. The one I found has no folds, no stains etc and is in perfect shape and is one of my best finds.

I have been looking for matches to my sn's and have bought some and it's not easy to locate them on ebay or dealer sites.

Wow, that is very cool! I have purchased a couple of matches, but never stumbled across any that way. I saw two on ebay a month ago that matched (different auctions, different sellers) but passed on them since they both wanted about $300.00 EACH due to the serial number. I liked the one digit serial, but didn't want them that badly.

I was floored when I saw it in the fed strap, not only cos of the condition but that I had just bought the other note. Last decent SN repeater I found in a fed starp had folds etc and probably is in the EF / VF category.

OT- Talking about fed straps -- On $1's I am finding some nice AU notes (no folds etc) from the 80's onwards lately in my area. One batch was series 1999 in sequential order with a six of a kind!

I once heard of a guy who had a fatal heart attack when he learned he had won first prize in a big lottery. At least you didn't do that!

That would have been real sad. The CCF would have lost one of our members!

A while back I got sn 10012001 and 10012002 on $2 notes locally. IF I come across 10012011 I will let you know.

Yes, it would be easier to match a solid or binary radar than a random binary.
