It's right below CURRENT melt price. It's up to you but if the market goes way down you'll lose the investment and if it goes up do you think you'll be able to spin it for a profit?

i don't think melt is going to go down that much anytime soon. and if it does drop then it will go back up. that's just what I believe. I guess my question is... based on current prices is this a good deal? well I guess my question is obvious since it is priced below melt :/

In spite of the fact that buying off craigslist is risky, I'd say in a perfect world, that would be a great deal. Melt is over $36 per coin, and morgans/peace dollars usually have a bit of a premium.

Mostly the latter, a bit of the former.

I just sold 3 Peace dollars to my local coin store for $33 each today. Seems like a decent price. I think melt is about $36+/-. There are certainly more wasteful things to spend $300 on.

A couple of good ideas

Meet in a public place,
Bring a magnet and a set of scales along with a Loupe
and if possible a friend.

Yes, bring a magnet, a scale, a Loupe, and a friend, and meet at Denny's. That's a good plan.

Do not go to Denny's. Meet them at a bank. Security cameras everywhere.

got them. $230 for 10 Peace dollars which hold melt value currently at $260. I thought it was a decent deal.
