I like the coin, so I will raise the ante to MS62/63
I do have a coin or two that have that color of toning, though it could have been re-toned some time ago....I would expect to see some gold colors and blue as well. let us know what you get...Thanks for showing one of the beautiful commemorative's out there...

Hopefully NGC will judge the coin to be problem-free. My gut call is it has AU-58 detail and artificial toning. Hope I'm wrong!

First photos were seller's listing photos. I took these and think they show the color more accurately.

The new photos are I think more revealing. There is definite rub with hairline scratches in the fields confirming an AU grade IMO. The hairlines especially in the left obverse field are severe enough to probably get a "cleaned" judgment from NGC. The coin does have quite a bit of remaining luster consistent with a high AU grade and the color looks more natural in the new images. It will be very interesting to see how NGC calls it.

There are some patches of hairlines(light wiping, not a harsh cleaning) but the combination of flashy luster and eye appealing toning make this a better-than-average AU IMO. It may not slab problem-free but it sure would look nice in a commemorative album $400 is right at Numismedia EF40 so I would say you did good.

I don't think it will necessarily get a cleaned judgment, as often these 'highlights' are very normal on toned coins.

I would suspect AU-58, mayyybe AU-58 or MS-60 details, but also possible a net grade of MS-61 or 2

I love the new pics! I agree with Brian, looks like a nice potentially slabbable AU-58, or 55 minimum with a boatload of eye appeal.
