As the price of silver keeps climbing the value of silver proof sets that I have accumulated keeps climbing also.

This is leading to running out of secure storage space.

My question is should I crack them out & roll them?

Is there a big difference in value from individual silver coins from leaving them in mint packaging? Will they ever be worth more intact?

These were almost all bought at or below current melt at the time.

This is all up to the individual. With silver prices this high, and higher in the future, These items are usually found at or below melt for the silver coins intact. I do not collect modern Presidential dollars, pennies, or nickels. It is better for me to crack them open, keep the silver coins, and recoup some of the cost by selling off the rest.

Modern mint sets are not sealed. In the future you wont be able to tell if you're getting an original mint set, or if your buying one that was put into someone elses empty lenses and boxes.

If you are trying to keep them from rubbing together, you can put them in 2x2's instead of putting them in rolls...
