Fuzzy317 Moderator United States 14463 Posts	Posted 04/22/2011 7:42 pm I recently got a cent planchet, and I don't know what date its from. I want to label it when it goes in a 2x2. Should the planchet weight equal that of the completed cent? - 3.11 g for copper - 2.5 g for copper plated zinc Or if the weight doesn't equal the completed cent, does anyone know the weight for a copper planchet or for a copper plated zinc planchet (zincoln)? I also got to look through about 50 wheat cents for the elusive 22 no D, didn't find one. I have a special silver commemorative coin on order to give as a thank you.
