I recently got back into collecting.. Fortunately I have some extra cash this month and was curious what everyone thinks the better purchase would be...

Uncirculated Silver American Eagle Roll of 20 or the 2011 1oz Proof Gold Eagle?

I'd say ASE's since silver seems to be going up more in relation to gold. On the other hand, I would love to have an AGE, regardless of price fluctuations. Currently saving for an AGE, but bought a few rolls of ASE's a few months ago. Still buying some silver every week.

I would say ASE too. I am guessing they would be easier to sell, and if you get a roll of ASE, you could sell off a few or a lot depending on the situation.
