Hello all, new to the forum. My wife and I have had this one for a while. Can't make out a date, appears to be from the 1990's? Pictures tell the story. Coin is slightly oval shape, probably due to being struck on only roughly half of the surface area. Not sure if there's any rarity or value. Any help and/or info is really appreciated. Thanks so much.

Very cool off-center strike!
It has value but I'm not sure how much.

Like bmanofbc says, these are called 'off-center strikes' and they do have value. It appears that yours could be a 1990P. Value would be from $5-$20 depending on your buying crowd.

It looks to be about 30% Off-Center(in my opinion)... There does appear to have some wear on the obverse(front), which is odd because people usually grab these up as soon as they see them...

I have about a half dozen very badly misstruck modern U.S. coins. About 200 of them turned up on the Australian market about 10 years ago, and mine are from that batch. They sell for about $50 each now; mine cost me a tenth of that when I acquired them.
