I've spent the majority of my time trying to complete this set but I have been collecting Mercury dimes and proof sets well. It surely is a great feeling of satisfaction! Silver Matte Finnish Proof (only available in the two coin set from the Mint) 1998-S Matte Finish John F. Kennedy half Dollar These came in "Two Coin Sets" from the U.S. Mint. Because the matte proof Kennedy half dollar was only offered in this two coin set, the coin has an extremely low mintage of about 62,000 coins. The two coin sets were originally priced at $59.95, but today the Kennedy half dollar is valued at several hundred dollars and considered to be one of the key date coins of the series. Type- I would say I have around 200.00$ into it. Give or take. I tend not keep my coin receipts unless it's something of extreme value.
