I don't have a clue what this coin is or where it's from but it appears to be a cool double die worthy of dancing fruit!

OK world coin experts, what is it?
I'll just sit here and eat some popcorn while I wait for answers

You got further than I did. Where do you see doubling?

Above the LL is where the doubling most obvious.

As for the ID, it's a quartilla (1/4 real), not the 1/8th real in the above ebay link. Listed in Krause under Mexico, state coinage, Zacatecas mint, KM# 366.

There's an 1863/2 overdate listed in krause; can't quite tell if that "3" is distorted in the right way for this to be the overdate, or if it's just more doubling. The overdate is valued the same as non-overdate 1863 coins, so it's not a rare variety.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
