So I'm thinking about buying really cheap lots of No date buffs on ebay and then soaking them in vinegar(to reveal the date) and reselling them.
Do you think this is a good idea?
Who knows, I might find some 1st type ones I can sell with out soaking.

About a year ago I bought 1,000 buffalo's off craigslist for $80. Half had full dates and half were no date. I completed 1 dansco and filled 3/4 of another. Since then I've more than doubled the money I paid for them. I still have the 1 complete and 3/4 set, and about 750+ buffalo's. I'd say it's worth it.
I also used nic-a-date, don't have the patience to wait for vinegar.

Dont waste you time on ebay lots. 3/4's of them will be philly mints, and impossible to flip. The few that have MM's keep in mind you are lucky to get 20% of G4 values. If you wanna do it best to find a shop that has them and cherry pick the MMs out. Otherwise you'll be lucky to break even if you ever try and flip them for a profit.

Depends on how cheap you get the dateless buffaloes. Ask if they include mint marked- many dealers on ebay are removing the mint marked dateless coins and selling them separately. You might have to pay more than 25 cents apiece if the lot is guaranteed to include 10-15% mintmarked (which is what it should have).
