I'm dissapointed. I've bought coins from this guy before and considered him a top-notch seller.

In my opinion that dime looks 'polished', then artificially toned.

Sad either way. LEAVE THE COINS AS THEY ARE!!

Yeah, I forgot to mention, it looked polished under the AT. Now, he's trying to cover up the polishing :-(
The uneducated would buy this coin.

As mad as this drives me, I still am curious as to the exact chemistry that causes these blue and purple people-eaters

Definitely doctored, but if silver keeps rising (actually the dollar declining), this one may someday be melted!

I can't fault the seller on this one. My hope is that the buyer ultmately accepts his own blame for this purchase. Sadly, many uneducated buyers ultimately point the finger of blame at some dealer or the hobby in general when they want to sell coins like this.

She has a lot of toned coins, guess she bakes them in bread or something, but definitely comes out of the oven. I only buy the modern silver proofs from her. Wouldn't touch the AT coins, but I guess some collectors like such coins. Incidentally she's on the discouraged sellers list.
