It would be nice if the pics were accompanied with markers that would help people detect the fakes.

Some are easy (like the small cents and nickels). Others are more subtle.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police also have a link for Canadian numismatic counterfeits, both English and Francais. It is by no means comprehensive, but it is a start.
