I frequent a fair number of forums at this time of year during my down time and I expect it's perfectly normal to have all different personality types working together within a community forum.

I have found in some places on the internet that the abilty to have a users posts simply not appear can enhance the pleasure of reading threads.

Is this a capability currently under consideration

Regards

I admit, I have no idea what that means.

honestly, id think that it would be just a bit rude, an what if that poster said something important or already said the same thing you just said?

i feel that this should not be implemented on the forum due to the fact that everyone should respect each other, and if you dont like someones posting style, skip that post and move on, or deal with it.

i tell ya if I found out was being ignored

(poster I'm responding to is below)

but speck, this would also cause a LOT of confusion between posting, I can see it now..

I'm reading a topic and see that some information has been missed, I go and post what wanted to say.

it turns out that the poster that I blocked has just posted the same exact thing and it makes me look like an idiot.

Hmmm... Ugly has a good point. That's one of those features that is best installed BEFORE it's needed.

I think everyone's opinion is important and if you constantly do not agree with a member, just do not read their threads. I have not heard of any "ignore button" being discussed by the admin and really hope we could all respect each other to where we would not ever need this type of button on this forum

I like how polite that was. I'd like to see this feature as well.

In other word the Original Poster can edit any replies?
Or Censor anyone they want? Why because some of us are not as knowledgeable as you are?

We have very good moderators and staff that catch most anything out of line.

maybe he just does not like the general attitude towards some people, thats the only reason I can think of, though.
