Hey guys, again, I have been analizing this coin like the dead sea scrolls. There are not many listed over at VAM world, so I though I would see if you guys see something I am missing. I know this coin is in rough shape, but I should still be able to place her somewhere..The first pic is of a strange puncture or "hole" in the coin, this is damage, and not a mint error, right? Sorry for the q's but I want to learn all I can about my morgans. Also, these are scans, so I hope that you can see what you need. Let me know if you need closer of something. Thanks again,
mike.

I think that above the E in STATES is Post Mint Damage, looks like the other E is PMD as well, like maybe it took a hit or something there

I agree with Bryan..... all red arrows point to PMD...(not an error coin).

Far date, normal m/m placement, C4 reverse, all of it says VAM-2 to me. The rest of that stuff is PMD as the others have said.

by the possible listings I would agree with VAM 2, however your date appears slightly farther to the right than the VAM 2 photo's, that could be simply due to the angle of the photo's when the pic were taken..new VAM?

I agree with the date a little bit farther compared to the pics on vamworld. I will try to find some other photos of VAM 2s and see what I can find. Also, for my catalogue, what grade would you give this coin, considering all of the damage....thanks, Mike.

I would not put my faith in the photos on VW for this VAM.
Rest in Peace
