I ends today but at HobbyLobby.com there is a coupon for 40% off any regular priced item. It also applies to online sales I THINK,don't hold me to that. Anyway, they have the 2012 Red Book softcover spiral bound for $14.99 so with the discount it is less than $10.00. They have a lot of books, albums, folders etc also. Just a heads up to help you all save a little cash.

Hey - Thanks for the heads up. And it does work online, but I would suggest if you have a local Hobby Lobby, go there and get it.

The problem is that online it lists for 16.99. When you apply the coupon, its a great discount - but the shipping puts it back up to 16.14

If they would use the "media rate" the, it would only cost 2.00 for S&H.

Nearest one of those is about 20 miles from me. At the price of gasoline for my car, getting about 15 to 17 miles to the gallon in city driving, then paying our outrageous sales taxes, I think I'll pass on that one.
At most coin shows I used to pay $10/Red Book but the last show they were $11/each. No sales tax, no entrance fees, no postage but again, with the price of gas, everything is to much.

I just went to that web site and found your right. It does appear to be selling them for $3.73 each. One per household and with the $6.79 shipping charge, still not bad at $10.52. I didn't look everything over and hopefully no other add ons monitarily. But for that price, still comes out rather cheap.
My only thoughts are there are so little changes in the 2012 Edition, might as well just find a 2010 version for a lot less at a used book store or flea market.

Got mine yesterday

Actually they only had 2011, and it was marked 14.99 -- w/ coupon 8.99 -- plus Uncle Sam's .54 for a grand total of 9.53. Not bad considerng the last one bought was 2005 and actually ended up paying less for my 2011 edition! Thanks for the tip hockingzig

I was amazed at the change in this one from the 2005. They added colored headings - hence colored tabs on the pages (getting rid of the paper clips , and every listed line is shaded different from the one above and below it; what a difference 6 years can make.

www.collectons.com

They always have free shipping on orders over $150. Also, you may find something else you want in the daily specials, offsetting the shipping cost for just the book. I have ordered from there a few times. Good service each time.

Collectons always has the current year Red Book @ 75% off as a loss leader. I always browse their daily sales sections and have come up with good deals such as commemoratives and silver eagles, that I might ordinarily pass on. Lately they have been offering .01 specials, the last one I picked up was a set of Westward nickels in a colorful holder. Worth bookmarking and checking back every now and again. Fast service and friendly people on the other end of the phone if you have a question or problem about your order.
Rest in Peace
