What a joke! This seller must have hired a Nigerian scammer to write the auction copy for him, too.

He posts it every few months. I know him from another forum and he's quite serious about what he thinks the value is even though he's been shown others that were certified that sold for only hundreds. He claims he's turned down millions for it.

ACG is a pariah TPG, and this is a perfect example. It's slobbed as a penny on dime planchet, mint. It's actually a cent on struck dime, and no reason it can't be given a MS number. Cents on dime planchets are relatively common. Far less likely is a cent on a struck dime. I don't recall ever seeing one, but it's not something I look for. I'd be far more inclined to think twelve hundred than twelve million, but then again, I've seen sillier things.

I am almost positive this has been discussed here before. Its worth quite a bit more than 5 bucks according to past sales at Heritage, but those examples were in PCGS and NGC slabs

Thats the only way he will ever get top dollar for this piece and it ain't gonna be nowhere near $12 mil.
