Last month I auctioned some Morgan VAM's on ebay that all came from a lot of 160 Mint State Morgan dollars I purchased in 2005 from a Cleveland lady. The woman said she had the Morgan dollars for more than 35-years, and they were wrapped in bank-marked paper rolls.

I found about 30 VAM's in this lot, with eight (8) being 1889-P VAM 19B's (Pre-Barwing) that were all from the same die state. The die state is the same as shown on VAMWorld.com for 1889-P VAM-19B with the exception of the die clash in front Liberty's throat -- the die state of these coins have gone past the faint "IN" to non-existent. Otherwise, all the other die markers are present.

Die clash mark of "IN" in front of Liberty's throat, next stage faint.

I have 4 of these 1889-P VAM-19B (Pre-Barwing) die varieties remaining, and will be auctioning them on ebay this coming week - the first one ends tonight.

ok what is the question here? Are you just trying to spark interest in your ebay item here since you do not have enough posts to do it by the rules?

Since the die clashes in front of Liberty's throat are not visible (on all 8 examples that I found) I was hoping someone might comment on this possibly being a transitional stage between 1889-P VAM 19B and 19A Barwing.

I don't see any of your pictures so can't comment on that, the pictures I see are directly from VW except for the die crack at the bottom of the neck so not sure what to tell you yours is without seeing pictures. It could be a later die state and the tail bar had been polished away but all this is purely speculation without seeing pictures

The examples I found, have all the dies markers as shown above, except there are no clash marks "IN" in front of Liberty's throat. That leads me to believe that this area was the first to transition to the Barwing stage.
