Hi I found two 2001 nickles that have blotchy writting has anyone else found any and what do you call this kind of coins?

Nothing unusual, jakko, most coins tend to show lack of sharpness as the die wears. In your case, simply a coin, nothing special, but maybe keep it to show die wear characteristics.

So why do people collect coins with die crack and so on if there are just change DBM.So What your saying is that it's worthless. Ok thanks for your replies

Don't think people are trashing you when offering a bad opinion on your coin, they are entirely different matters. The coin you showed it as was said just a weak coin, nothing really special about it. As was also pointed out, if you like it keep it. Some of us grade that as pocket change, which is a fair assessment. I'd spend it myself. But that doesn't mean having you look through coins for variations is worthless, it's how you get educated, ask questions.
