1939-Walking-Liberty

I was looking for someone to help me come up with a grade for this coin, I do not know much on grading so give me your opinion. The coin has almost all it's luster, and the marks above in god we trust are shadows they do not show up on the coin.

Easy MS64, minimal bag marks, clean unbroken luster. The highest wear areas, Liberty's breast shield and the eagle's neck and breast feathers are unmarred by circulation rub. All in all, a lovely collectible coin.

Either there were several other replies in this thread including one from myself on the grade of this coin last night that somehow vanished or I was dreaming...

Anyway, again, FWIW, easy MS-64, IMHO, and those noticeable "rubs" are simply luster grazes. Sheesh!

EDIT: The coin's also posted in the modern error sub-forum and the mods just didn't get to that, yet. Do you see? I wasn't crazy!

PS: https://goccf.com/t/87886 (for the mods)

PPS: Have to go have my mint julep, now...

I'm going to have to go with MS-64.

My first thought is AU-58 based on the friction marks (aka "luster grazes") on the breastplate, apparent loss of detail and color change on Liberty's head, and what looks like rub on the eagle's beak. However, the eagle breast feathers look complete and unworn and there is full thumb detail on Liberty's left hand. Without seeing the luster quality in-hand the AU vs. BU call is I think impossible to make.

I'm prejudiced by my experience sending in a beautiful 1944 Walker I was convinced was an easy MS-65 and having it come back AU-58. I never was able to see exactly why PCGS called it AU. Based on these photos this 1939 Walker looks more "AU-ish" than that 1944 coin.

So I got to agree with MS64
