I am looking on information on British gold 1/10 ounce coins with Elizabeth on one side and St. George on the other. My internet search did not yield much fruit. Thanks for your help.
It's not a 1/10 oz, but a "half sovereign." Give wikipedia a quick search and you can read up on the 500+ history lineage of the denomination.
The reverse was changed to a modern stylized one for 2 years (2004 and 2005), I think. Otherwise, it would have looked like this, the normal design for over 100 years.
