Hello,

I found this coin a while back and was wondering what happened to this coin and if it is of any value. As you can see in the pictures on the front of the coin there are two "bumps" on the coin and on the back there is one "bump".

Any suggestions as to what this is?

Thanks,
Vance

They look like air bubbles stuck under the surface.

Well, the bumps are clearly post strike damage of some sort - because of the way the devices on the coin are distorted. The coin is a laminate and many are known to bubble when heated. I would look for traces of fire damage, but wouldn't spend a lot of time on it.

Swamperbob had it right. This coin was in a fire, probably a house fire.
