I-Got-This-Penny-In-Change

This weekend when I got home from Wal Mart I threw my change up on the counter and noticed right off there was a copper penny that looked out of place. Turns out it was a 1954 Wheat penny that goes AU-50 or better. I guess it does pay to shop at Wal Mart.

Woohoo!

What a find! It looks like this fantastic, growing, recovering, wonderful economic recovery we find ourselves blessed with at present is forcing people to get into the older coins they had stashed in the closet!

Good find

Awesome! That's cool... I found a couple of Wheats ('40 and '42) in a big bag of pennies my niece is collecting for school. Not blast red, of course!

Just that date/mint is a tough find, even when you search boxes. You got a big bonus in that condition, too.
