Hi all, I was using my new USB Microscope last night and ran across this 1991 D Lincoln Mem Cent. I notice it looks like there is clear doubling in the Memorial stairs (west side)and on the columns on the west side. Then on closer inspection I see lots of North and South shading (DD?)on the words: "United States", "One", etc.

Can anyone give me feedback on this as I have not found it listed anywhere else.

Thanks

That is split copper plating. Very common on zincolns, no added value.
And to CCF.

The coloring is distracting but is the westside (steps and column) not Machine Doubling?
