I'm not well versed in anything copper. Any help with grade, value and best storage for long term would be great!
Thanks:

The Mint's press was a little weak that day. Odd thing about this coin, it was well centered when struck.

Ear and cheek just starting to flatten. Extremely clean fields on the obverse and reverse with a little spotting on the obverse at the 6 pm position. Also of note, there is some streaking on the obverse, starting near the "N".

If this coin has not been cleaned, not being able to tell the amount of original luster left, going to tag this as AU53.

Whoa...that was a killer coin at some point. EXCELLENT details for the issue....REALLY good, as in MS. These are extremely hard to find in early die state like this one. This is one of those coins where you as to why some fool cleaned the crap out it....what a shame!

MS details, harshly cleaned.

Oh....for storage I'd keep it open to air in a windowsill for a couple years. It may look better if you can get it to brown over the cleaning. Flip and rub between your fingers every couple of weeks. Man, this coin kills me...it was really something at some point.

jsut my luck. I found this coin in a collection I bought a couple months ago. it was hiding and I never noticed it. What do you think that value is? and I'm guessing this would be body bagged by the top 3 TPG.

Dealer would probably price this 10 to 20 bucks off the grade to compensate for cleaning. ...and they would probably get it!

Yea, I'd say probably $10. I still like the coin for the detail/die state.
