That is a great looking coin brizidaviana! The only coin I have from Portugal is the 1910 1 Escudo and it is one of the most beautiful in my entire collection. I definitely will get the 1910 1000 Reis and 1915 or 1916 1 Escudo to add to my world crown collection at some point. I might actually be going to Portugal with my girlfriend and her family this summer!

Very nice, I'm a big fan of Portuguese coins. Looks like it's in XF/AU condition.

I myself have a 5 Escudos 1934, 10 Escudos 1954, 20 Escudos 1966, and a 1976 proof set cotaining 100 and 250 Escudos.

Hello,

Thank's.
The 1 Escudo don't is of 1910, this coin was minted in 1914.
5 Octuber of 1910 was the implementation of the republic, after 900 years of monarchy.
Your coin is better than my.

Hello,

crownman, where you go? Is you go to Lisboa, you have a fair in the "Mercado da Ribeira" in Cais do Sodré, every Sunday (8/9h - 12/13h).
vb3347, nice coin, the 20 estudos of 1966 is commemorative coins of the bridge Salazar, but now is the bridge 25 de Abril.
