Hi
Have a question in regards to a 1934 ten dollar note. A friend has offered to sell me this note and said to make a fair offer. I checked the book that I have and it only list what a vf 20 is worth and what a unc 63 is worth. I want to make a fair offer but am lousy in grading. The bill is still crisp no noticeable folds that I can see. Went to a currency shop they said offer what I think it is worth. Just trying to get a opinion on value. The note looks better in person then the scans show. Thanks for any opinions

Nice North Africa note I would say it is at least AU, I do not see any creases or stains but the corners and edges do not have sharp lines so it might have seen a little circulation.

Ouch.... first let me say I liked it, wanted it and I tried to find a common ground with the pricing in the book I have ( shows books are not worth diddly) anyway I paid $60.00 for it.

I do not know the value offhand but I do know that is worth alot more than $30. I think $60 would be a good price.

I was comfortable with the price. This is the same gentleman who is interested in a error note that I have and wants to do a trade. Unfortunately with the book I have it is real hard to get a price on what anything is worth, at least that's the way it feels to me. Maybe when I get more experienced in what I am doing and seeing. Thanks for the info much appreciated.

I think you got it at a very fair price, it looks like a very nice WW 2 North Africa Silver Cert.
Now all you need are the other WW 2 notes to complete the collection.
Remember, you can never pay to much for a nice note, only to soon.
