Some unknowing fool probably offered to pay stupid money for the coin and he ended the auction early to sell to that person and now that person has no recourse unless he wises up when he receives it and pays some kind of way that he can get his money back because its a fake. I hope someone has a copy of the show from "the secrets of the US mint" and he see's how this coin was actually made before they send him some money

Notice the straight edge on that coin. Perhaps we can learn. Imagine trying to put an improperly blanked soft metal planchet into a coining chamber. What would it look like?
