Some good crack he's smoking. It doesn't look like an MPL even....and who the heck sells at "$20k" coin unslabbed? You'd think he fork out the $100 to get it slabbed if it's so valuable. LOLOLOL

Let's see, for that money, you could get an 1877 IHC, a low-end 1893-S Morgan, a 1909-S VDB, a 1913-S T-II Buffalo nickel, a 1916-D Mercury dime, a 1921-D Walking Liberty, a 1928 (P) Peace dollar, a 1932-D Quarter, and you'd still have several thousand dollars left.

If I had 27k to blow I would be in vegas right now and getting ready to play in the world series of poker events. Then if I cashed in one or two of them or even got lucky enough to win one I would go on a coin spending spree.

I like the logic put into determining if this was a proof or not: Quote: THE SURFACES LOOK LIKE APROOF SURFACE AND THE RIMS ARE HIGH LIKE A PROOF RIM ON BOTH SIDES OF THE COIN AS PICTURED. Instead of checking the actual die diagnostics.

Wishful thinking. Needs to be authenticated by an expert. If it were a real matte proof, it wouldn't fetch more than $2,500-$3,000 at most for an R&B. This seller is smoking some serious crack to ask for that amount.

Maybe that is why he is trying to get 27k for it... he owes his drug dealers and than after he pays them off he will have enough for another rock

Agree with BadThad on the grading part. If I am going to spend that kind of money on a coin, which is highly doubtful in my lifetime unless I won the lottery, I'm going to have to hold it in my hand and its dang sure going to be certified by PCGS or NGC.

He also has a 1932D Lincoln $2799.96 that is in his words Real Cheap. Get them certified and he may get half what he is asking.
