NGC is a third party grading service like PCGS. NGC stands for Numismatic Guaranty Corporation

some would say PCGS in better and their slabs will at times command higher prices. I believe both charge about the same but you mya find it difficult to submit just one coin.

PCGS is considered the industry standard for most series, NGC a close second. If it is an expensive coin, go with PCGS.

"buy the coin not the holder" some pcgs coins are overgraded, and some ngc coins are overgraded. But some coins could be undergraded in either slab. So if you know what you're doing, I think some bargains could be had in ngc slabs since pcgs ones are hyper-inflated.
