I recently acquired this, and am looking for confirmation plus a grade and approx. value. After looking on ebay and checking RedBook, I came up with a large window for value and am looking for a more accurate assessment.

My opinion on this is a VG10 on a bad day and hopefully a F12 on a good day. I have more images if they are needed for grading. Thank you again in advance.

I don't know enough about this variety to confirm or deny, but I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't grade higher than G4. The rims are not intact which I believe is a minimum requirement.

Yes, that is FS-25-1942D-101 which has some of the largest spread of any Washington doubled die. I concur with G4, the rim is too worn to support VG and above. Unfortunately, the low grade will limit the value. Heritage lists an ANACS AG-3 that sold for $35 in 2008 and an NGC VG-10 that sold for $42 in 2009, I would estimate that yours would be worth $40-50.

Thank you for your responses. Apparently I was being a little generous with the grade. I was planning on selling this but if its only a 40$ coin I guess I will just hold on to it. Still not a bad coin to get for melt price. Thank you again for the information.
