I've not had much luck with quarters since it's the workhorse of the circulating coins.
My quarter pull-list just has one entry: "anything silver."

I haven't searched quarters, but maybe the errors in the State Quarters I keep hearing about.

No, don't pull the silver, throw it back so I can find it

with the above posts.
Good luck!

By the way, Almostcollectible, the Wisconsin quarter has an error with a double leaf, high and low on the ear of corn. It lists around $50-$75 in the RedBook. It also gives and example.

ALot of people have been hoarding the ATB Quarters too. You might wanna get the striking it rich with pocket change it will help you out with some errors/varieties. Also the 1983 quarters seems to bring in a premium if they are good shape.

I've been pulling ATB Quarters. Can't lay my hands on most of them, except for this stack of 6 gettysburg quarters! I keep finding more of them.

Hmm that's what they were talking about. Well rest assured, no Wisconsin quarter that lands in my hand from here on out will go unchecked.

Since the Mint started with those State Quarters, a zillion people (slight exageration) started collecting those and the ATB ones now also. Tons of manufacturers (another exageration) popped up out of the unknown places on Earth and further out too, in making Folders for those. People are collecting those by the rolls too.
I went through all that in the 70's with those Bicentennial Quarters and eventually found I had a real loss of space and money. I feel in the future this will be the same with all these quarters too. Just to many hoarding them.
Nice educational idea but in the future no real value.
