I agree, it looks polished. If the weight and diameter are correct, I wouldn't worry about sending it in.

I guess it would depend for me on how expensive the submission is when done as group. Also, you don't want the gold price to drop during the slabbing period.

Yeah, I guess polished would be more accurate. I agree, if the weight is spot on, just throw it in an Airtite. Your others, send in.

These are suppose to be gold right? Is it just me or do all of these look like some sort of silver knock off? At first I thought it was just the pictures, but this picture especially makes the coin appear to be silver in color, even the glare from the light shows it to be silver in color. Is it just me?

I'm pretty sure it's just the photos. Looking at the background, it looks like the saturation was sucked dry from the photos and the color temperature is too cold.

I would not buy any raw numismatic gold so definitely get it graded as there are others who feel the same way and want the peace of mind from the slab
