I'd go EF on the cent. Plenty of detail above the ear. But agree VG on the seated.
Rest in Peace

VF-35 detail on the large cent
VG-10 to F-12 on the seated half. It's not as worn as a typical VG-8. Would be graded F-12 at a TPG

Definitely a nice EF-40 on the 1854 LC (the reverse gouge hurts it a bit). The 1857 O Seated half dollar has nice details but grades out about a VG-10 just for lack of LIBERTY on the obverse, the reverse is a nice F-15, (I think anyway).
