Ok I think I might have found a 1999 Proof Close AM. Its late or actually early and my eyes are a little fuzzy. Its 4:05am here in NJ, but I couldn't go to sleep with out posting this first! I believe it to be a Close AM. I was just about to shut down the computer. But wanted to check on a 1999 Silver Proof Set I just got. (Its very poor quality) When I came across another members post about his 1999 CLAM. I didn't realize proofs had a variety. Maybe I'm just way overtired here and completely off. Please let me know. I did my best with the pics.

Yup, even with those pics. you can see it is a CAM. Spacing between the M and E as well as the positioning of the FG initials.

I don't do modern varieties or Lincoln Cents anything but even I can see the CAM in your pics so I believe you are correct on your attribution

Alright!!..-.._.._-..doing a little victory dance. :-) I was on ebay looking for 1999 Silver Proof Set(Tax Return) When I stumbled across this set with a 2000 Proof Set. The bid was $17 I figured $20 wouldn't be too bad being I needed the 1999 set for a run I'm working on. It ended at $19 + $5 S&H for both of the sets. This was just on 4/30. I'm glad I finaly just said the heck with it, If it werent for the tax money though I wouldn't of been able to get it. Thank You so much for all your valuable expertiese!! Now that I'm recharged, I think its time to hunt some rolls.

Pretty nice finds. Is that good or bad ? I thought the 98 brought a higher premium. Are they popping up now ? Hope not

DVC Thanks for the link, You answered my next question what other proof years have CAM's, Were their any WAM Proof years. Or thats the normal reverese, because of pressure/flow of metal or something like that I think I've read somewhere? I'm going to go check the 2000 set see if it has a CAM as well. What are the odds of that happening. Now for 98,99,2000 CAM's In what order would their are factor be? Is one harder to find then the other. And anyone have some more links to CAM or WAMs that list the years and things like that. Indian, I'm good for it I swear,

No charge. Any advice on here is free. There's so much of it it has to be. No harm in checking any and all for wams/cams Just because one certain date has not been found yet does not mean they are not out there. The odds may be very slim to find a new one but ? Best odds are to check the next date up on these rev. changes. Though so far only the 98,99 and 2000 WAM's have shown there face. In this case check all cents from 1993 and up. Check the proofs also for the cam. 2000 would make sense to check unless there was a definate change made that would make it impossible for it to exist. As far as values (wams) the final numbers are not in yet and probably will never be. But for now I guess the 99 is the scarcest so far. I'm still waiting for the numbers on the 98 cam. A long while back I posted the fact that I saw the very first 1992-P Cam ever found. It was brought in raw one day as I was in one of my local dealers shop. At the time I did not even know what all the fuss was about. I learned pretty quick :)

Well I had my serious doubts about the 2000 PF Set Also containing a CAM. The odds of two random sets I won off ebay. Both having a Close AM in them. Really what are the odds of that. And if you were to ask anyone who knows me if I were lucky, I'm sure they'd say "Sure Anthony has a Lot of luck, A lot of BAD LUCK! LOL. So when I looked at it and saw that it looks like it is a CAM First I almost @@#$.....Seriously! Right on my bedroom floor. Let me know what you think Is it just me being hopeful now, so my eyes are seeing what they want to see. As always thank you so much for checking out my posts. I hope one day I can help out each and every one of you. And thank you so much for putting that free image optimizer on here. It makes my life so much easier. Pics come out real well with it too. No more guessing, Love it.
