Hi,

We found an album of 23 pirate ship notes at a used bookstore. We picked the binder up for fifty dollars, but don't know anything about foiled bills.

These individually tell a story about famous pirate ships and say they are 23k but I am not sure.

Could someone tell me if these are monetary or is it just a really cool pirate collectible?

Pics would help, I have relatively little idea what you're talking about.

Issued as a collector series so not for general circulation. First time I've heard of these but here's a link.

Thanks thai-vic thaey were on the link and I now know there were thirty in the set and I only have 23 .

Is there value to a gold bill as opposed to a gold coin? It.s beautiful to look at but I don't know how to keep them safe.

Thanks

It's foil with little value except as a novelty.
