Very interesting .........you have sharp eyes

But how can you make sure that this was made by the printing ink I think this will need an expert!

Under close scrutiny the dot is of the same raised and shiny quality as the numbers in the date so I'd say it was definitely printed at the same time.

It does look like the ink around it.

And like EgCollector said, you must have very, very good eyes! Nice catch.
