Got 6 Buffalo nickels, 1928-1936. What's the average price for one since silver's gone up?

Why would you think silver prices have any affect on Buffalo nickels? Without a grade range or mintmarks, coming up with an average value is impossible but common VF/EF would be $3-5.

none.

they are made of Nickel..

as far as I know, the silver price going up may make Buffalo nickels seem like a better value than paying 30-40 for an ounce of silver.

if your nickels are average circulated condition, then I would think each nickel would be around $.25- $1.00
I can get dateless nickels at my coinshop for $.25 , semi dates for .50 and full dates for .75-1.00

Id say $1- $2 a piece, in average worn condition. High grade strikes demand a lot more money, though.

I agree with $1-2 if I was buying them circulated, sight-unseen - a bit more if I was picking my favorites out of a bunch of circulated ones.

They could be anywhere from $0.75 (G-4) to $3.00 (VF-20). Keep in mind, these values are for the most common coins.

AAHhhhhhhh, but if your was Silver. Think of it. You would have the only Silver Buffalo nickel so it's value could be astonishing. And you forgot that Gold too has gone way up so a Gold Buffalo nickel could be worth even more.
Actually at a coin show recently I saw someone get about 0.10 each for some of those. Always check the bottom, rear for mint marks too.
Imagine the surprize if a jewler tried melting one for Silver.
