It looks to me like it could be real, but there are enough red flags that I'd stay away from that seller - he can't spell, he goes to great lengths to talk about how he didn't clean it with anything other than "wather from a bottle", his photos are bad, and is Mar Lin supposed to be Maryland?
I agree, I don't know enough to determine if it's a legit coin, but I do know enough to stay away from that seller. Coin looks dipped to me at least and to me, when the seller said wiped down with water only, I'll take that to mean he cleaned it.
Very Strange indeed. His last 2 sales were fairly large and the buyers left positive feedback. You just don't know sometimes. I am always wary of sellers who cannot spell and use bad grammar. Maybe I have missed out on some nice deals because of this!
I know next to nothing about Morgans, but how do you grade that coin by those pics? The pics make me uneasy, especially the reverse. Either the photo or the coin looks doctored.
I hate to brand a seller because of his inability to spell or compose a proper sentence, but I have to admit that reading a buyer's description loaded with grammatical errors does make me leery. Unfortunately, butchering the English language is becoming more and more commonplace
