Just shows you the mentality of some people out there. I wonder how much extra I could get for slabbed coins with scratches on the slab?

The first bid is $45.00 (a very fair price) so the Seller is at no way to fault here, in fact I say good for him.

Still LOL.

Some buyers you really have to wonder about.

well seeing that the only way to get a reverse proof coin would be in the 20th anniversary set I beleive that this one will be a key coin to complete the set in a few years especially if the mint sells completely out of them (which in my opinion cant be to far from it now) so maybe a year from now that may be a great deal. Right now I agree that they could get a whole set from the mint for 100 bucks and send them all to be graded and still have about this much in them all and chances are they will atleast grade a 69 because it seems most are grading 70 its the regulat proof that is grading 69 because PCGS has said there is to much of a chance of the regular proof having spots down the road so they are reluctant to give them the 70 score

You can rest assured, and plan on it, the Mint will do everything in its power to control the secondary market by continuing the series or flooding the market later!

Buy the coin, not the plastic, consider

Would you pay a premium for PCGS plastic or NGC plastic?

This a typical example of buyers not thinking for themselves. Trusting grading services is at your own risk. Buyers should research the coin and learn to trust your own judgement and not what someone tells you. Plastic these days must be expensive, I did not realise that it followed the gold market.

Hey, that would be a great motto for the registry sets!
