He's retired; I have no problem believing him when he says he acquired them new in 1960, in the original frenzy surrounding the "Small Dates". He overpaid, of course - back then, it wasn't realized that the Denver Small Dates were far more common than the Philadelphia ones.
All the same, it's an unsearched original roll of Mint State coins. I will be the first to ever get them under a loupe. This is gonna be fun - there's lots of neat varieties possible, and perhaps I'll make his money back for him.
Anyone have any idea what the value is for a roll of the 1960-d small date in VF-AU condition? The estate I'm working with has several rolls & I'm having a hard time coming up with anything.
