i think see what you are seening looks like lines inside the letters
dont know what is going on but my guess is a plating issue
but it is just a guess

From the pictures it is hard to see details, having the coin in hand do you see any split serifs, an actual doubling of any part of any letters? I could not begin to venture a guess and that is all it would be, from having this to work with.....Possible you could take some more, clear photos of the areas of interest.

Theres no split seriffs on this coin its most likely split plating I guess. Ill take better pictures of my coins in the future. I'm working on a setup right now so I can take more clearer photos. My tripod broke and mostly holding the camera by hand so its a little tough right now.
